Fire Fang set a fast pace, raced Posing into subjection and just lasted long enough to stall off the rush of Conde. The latter was saved In the early stages and, finishing fast, would have won In another stride. Posing ran well throughout and finished gamely. Rubaiyat ran well, but tired at the end. Moonvlne ran In close contention all the way, wore down the leaders on the turn for home, raced Joserblr.e E. into defeat and won in the last two strides. The latter set a fast pace, raced Golden Pheasant Into subjection and had nothing left to stall off the winner, but finished gamely. Cbolk Hedrick trailed until rounding the far turn then moved up rapidly, caught Solon Shingle and the two fought It out fast and gamely to the finish. Solon Shingle had no mishaps, ran an excellent race and with a stronger finisher should have won. Thistle Do was outrun In the earlv stages, but finished with a determined rush and barely failed to get up. Miss Martha was well rated, caught the leaders on the turn for home, raced Gracchus Into defeat and won colng away. Gracchus set a fast pace, but tired badly in the last sixteenth- Taubark ran well and had no mishaps, but failed to stay and Just outlasted Reside for third place. The latter had no mishaps, forced Frank Carr to set the pace fast and had nothing left when the decisive racing came. George Vivian trailed until on the turn into the homestretch then finished with a rusli and would have been second In another stride. Vestryman and Frank Carr raced themselves into exhaustion In the first three-quarters. Scratched 04475 Oratorlan, 106; 64478 Ireland, 90.
