TRAIN WRECK AT BELMONT PARK. Xew York. .October 1!. Robert Buttles, a Pinker-ton emploje, was seriously injured today when a train standing on the siding at the Belmont Park end of tlie road, was struck by an incoming train. KKThe train on the siding had just discharged its - passengers, excepting Buttles, who had been selling - badges. From all accounts the incoming train was switched to the wrong receiving siding and before the engineer could stop it had crashed into the rear end of the standing train. Buttles was on the platform of the rear coach when the accident occurred and was badly crushed, his right leg being mutilated. An ambulance was called immediately and the injured man taken to tiie nearest hospital at Jamaica. .
