J. E. WIDEN ER GETS BEN SHAW. Cincinnati, 0., October 29. Howard Lewis, acting for J. E. Wldencr, purchased from J. B. Respess today the good jumper Ben Shaw. The price reported was 5,000. He also bought Steve Lane. Negotiations are pending for the purchase of Squanderer from J. W. Pugh. The colt is a promising green jumper and was schooled over the course after the last race for Lewis benefit.
