SIR DIXON THIRTEENTH IN THE LIST. sir Dixons representatives on the turf in r» •; placed him thirteenth in the Hat of American stal lions fin the year. In 1904 his get won 5,454, and in P.Mr.. 9,905. sir Dixon is by Billet, out of Jaconet, by Leamington and is now twenty -two years old. one year younger than his brother, Bervldere. sir Dixon was hied in the Runnyniede Stud near Paris. Ky.. where he is now located as a private stallion. llr was a bigh-clas8 racehorse. He ran in twenty-nine races daring his career on the turf and won ten of them, earning a total of 5,060. As a two-year-old he carried the colors of Green B. Morris, winning the Camden and Select Stakes and the Flatbuafa Handicap. Mr. Morris sold him to Pwyer Brothers and as a three-year old he won for them the Withers, the Rolnionl. Carlton. Travels. Analostaii and I.otillard Stakes. He was not raced as a four-year-old. hut as a five-year old in 1896, lie was sent out nine times, to score only one victory. It was then decided that he would not stand training .main and he was sold to Messrs. Clay Woodford to he returned to Runnymede stud, where lie entered sen lee in the spring of 1891.
