CARMAN SUSPENDS JOCKEY HARRIS. Judcies Uphold Owner in His Action — Ascot Horsemen Think Well of Kereheval. Los Angeles, CM., lanamry 24. — Not liking the manner in which jockey Harris has been riding his horses lately. I!. 1". Carman refuses lo give him any mere mounts nor will he allow him to accept outside engagements. Harris appealed to the judges. -laiming he had a tiulit to ride for others when re fused mounts by his Contract employer, hut the .judges have sustained Mr. Carman. I. arm- holds were the order of the day. bur the racing was featureless. Four of the six facts were WOU in decisive fashion. Confessors tunning was disappointing, but he got off poorly and li.ol a rough .journey. I he consensus of opinion of horsemen here is that Kereheval, with his light impost ,,f loo ]k.iiiiiIs. will win the Burns Handicap. Matty Corbel r and .1. S. McDonald goi in from S Y.ik today.
