SALE OF THE MEADOWTHORPE STUD. liTTlngtan, Ky.. February 9. — To settle up the cs tale of the late Colonel James B. Pepper the Mead OWthorpe Farm and 53 head of thoroughbred horses were sold by auction today. The farm embraced XSB acres and was purchased by S. M. Hallcy of Pavnes Depot, Ky., for 300 per aire, a total of 105,350. The horses brought an aggregate of 5,470. The best prices were: Lady Pepper, blk. M, 14, by Hindoo — Jaconet, by Leamington: J. K.
