RACING COMMISSIONS REPORT. Albany. N. Y.. March ::. The siate Racing Com mission in presenting its report to the legislature, says the season of i:mi; was the greatest in the his lory of the sport of racing. The report tells in de tail of the success of the bureau of hr ling .1- cstablished with the approval and support of the commission by the Jockey Club. " Ihe primary, as it is in fact the exclusive, purpose of this bureau." says the report, "was the selection and distribution throughout the state of high class thoroughbred horses [or genera] public service at a nominal fee."
