Her sire is Hamburg and her dam is Onduloe and they were mated at La Belle Stud before the dispersal which followed the death of Mr. W. C. Whitney. Ondulee is an Knglish mare, being by St. Simon out of Ornis. She was bred by Captain A. Greville and was sold as a yearling In 1899 to Mr. Whitney for 0.00»i. trainer Gilpin doing the bidding. Mr. Whitney raced her three seasons in England. She did not win as a two year old. but scored in three races as a three-year-old and one as a four year-old, taking SJ.tKMl in prist money.
