THE PICKET IS RETIRED. Lexington. Ky., May 23.— Billy Lakelands seven-year-old horse The Picket, winner of the American Derby in ttgg, arrived here today to be retired to the stud at T. II. Gardners Hira Villa farm. The two-year-old colt Inspect, by Inspector B., owned by Milton Young, which recently went lame in the east, arrived with The Picket and will be turned out at Mcl.iathian.i until full.
