Budge Work had to rcrcoaee a lot of Interference from a slow beginning and litiKhed fast. Headline was prominent throughout and is showing steady improvement. William Biwtt ran a good raee and held on well in the closing drive. Little Osage -bowed a good Bight of speed in the first quarter. 1 Ham quit badly in the last furlong. King Leopold was badly ridden aud had to overcome a lot of interference, put tinished fast. Bazil showed speed, but tired aftergoing three-quarters. Proteus ran fairly well and bad no mishaps. Merry Pioneer bumped his way clear in the stretch and will improve. Solly If, was timidly handled and can do much better. Oberon ran poorly. The winner W8S entered for 1X1; no bid.
