Synchronized, hard ridden, squeezed through a narrow opening in the last furlong and. standing a luiril drive with rare courage, got up In the final stride. Orlandot ran to his best form and was a sharp con tender all the way. Ladys Man, going a trifle wide throughout, forced a fast pace in the early stages and. staying well in the final drive, took third place in the last stride. Duuvegan got away fast on the inside and. showing superior early speed, saved much ground all the way, but tired slightly in the closing-drive. Brimmer, running green and going wide, ran a good race and will improve, is a reported goad] one and can probably beat the winner. Vansel had no mishaps. Headline was right there at the end. Little George, much the best, suffered much from interference and. with clear sailing, would hav--won off hy himself. Etrena. going wide all the way and poorly handled, ran a good race. Bob Angus tine tired near the end after showing a high order of sin-ed. Section came fast at the end from a pose beginning. Blaekloek had no mishaps. Won easily: second driving: third the same, light Wool, favored by good racing luck, shot across the track from an outer position, impeding several of the others, took ■ long lead al once, held sway throughout and won as his rider pleased. Miss Alert ran a good race, followed the leaders closely and. standing a hard drive gamely, just lasted long enough to make it a dead heat or second place. Bottles, after going a trifle wide on the stretch turn, finished gamely and anoald bare been ahead of Miss Alert in the next stride. Redgauntlet showed sudden im iioveinent and finished gamely. Old Honesty had no mishaps and was 11 sharp factor most of the way. bit tired slightly in the closing drive. Wing Ting, poorly lu.miled and suffering from interference, can do mneh better. Nedra tired after going a hall, showed great speed in the early stages and is ii good form. Aleneon was shuffled back soon alter the start and closed a hia gap in the last smarter. 1 a, mt showed speed. BontBBO was almost thrown when Humorist and Nedra closed in on her soon after the start.
