Start fair. Won easily; second driving; third the same. Belltoone, away fast and well handled, dashed into a long lead at once, had the others driving hard to keep within striking distance in the early stages and drew away In the stretch, wlninng as her rider I leased. Blaze oLight, away in a tangle, closed a big gap iu the last hair and, finishing with a rush, took second place in the final drive. Oak Grove ran a irood race and was right there most of the way. Sea Salt began slowly and closed a big gap in the last furlong. Field Lark showed speed, but quit badly after going live furlongs. Pixley, Cygnet and Hyiierbole were prominent in the early running and the latter finished close up. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Scratched G03S2 Optional, 100. Bucket Brigade ran as if lie outclassed tue others, was away forwardly and, showing superior speed, won " all the way witli plenty in reserve. Colonel Brady was also favored at the start and ran a good race, finishing gamely and fast. Silver Cup, away poorly, closed a big gap in the stretch and finished witli a rush. Cheswardine came from a long way back in the stretch and but for going wide all the way would have been second. Lavatriua is showing steady improvement and was prominent for a half before tiring. Inventress had a rough trip and was right there for the first half. Hollow, away in a .tangle, can do much better. The winner was entered for 1907.sh00; no bid. Telescope suffered from interference in the early stages, had to go wide on the stretch turn, then came fast, but tired near the end. Beatrice IC. forced the running in the early stages and raced Bensonhurst into subjection, but tired in the last quarter. Bensouhurst showed much speed for a half, then quit badly, is in good form at present and can win in ordinary com pan. Potter retired after going s half. Bert Osra ran a bad race and can do much better. Prince Silverwings was palpably short. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Phil Finch, well handled and saving ground most of the way, was speedy, stood a hard drive through the last furlong gamely and lasted long enough. Mike Sutton, also given a perfect ride, ran a good race, was gaining at" the end and would have won in a few more strides. Plantland, much the best, had scant chance witli a poor ride. Austin and Lee trapped Minder on the stretch turn by opening up a space for him to go between and then closed in sharply, forcing him to take his mount back, he then starting for the outside and then veering to the inner rail, the hesitation causing much lost ground. Still Alarm ran a good race and was gaining at the end. Miss Lida stumbled at the start and was at once eliminated. Walker was restrained in the early stages and moved up fast when urged hard on the stretch turn and. wearing down Geneva S. In the final furlong, won going away. Geneva S. set a fast pace and raced Snake Mary into defeat, but tired slightly in the last quarter. Black Dress trailed far back for the first three furlongs and moved up with a great rusli in the stretch. Parisian Model, poorly ridden, had scant chance and will show improvement under better riding. Mai Couria showed a brief liash of speed, has worked fast and will Improve when thoroughly familiar witli racing. Brown Mary ran far below her ltest form. Hazel Patcli ran forwardly throughout and wore down AVoolstone in the last quarter, but could not withstand the winner. Woolstone, away fast and clear of interference, showed the most early speed, but tired fast after going three-quarters. Camllie had a rough trip for the first throe-quarters and was right there at the end. Orlandwick ran a good race, but tired near the end. Knight of Ivaulioe ran poorly and can do much better.
