CONDENSED HISTORY OF THE HAROLD STAKES. So far as length of establishment is concerned, the Harold leads all western stakes for two-year-old colls and is an event of such historic associations that the Latonia Jockey Club could very well afford to increase its endowments and make it of leading importance.
