Cairngorm was outrun in the early stages, but began to gain on the turn for home ami, linishing fast and gamely, just got up in time. Cinette ran a line race for her first time out this year and, with a little stronger finish on the uart of Kadtke, would probably have won and may have been a trille short. Troublemaker came right hack with another good race. Orphan Lad did not run to his true form and could not. get up at any stjge. Lord Badge ran well. Masaniello ran disappointingly and can do better. Notasulga ran unexlended in front all the way and won easing up. Jane Swift made a promising debut and ran a good race, liuished fast and caught Meggs Hill tiring. Half Sovereign ran well and Iinished gamely. Meggs Hill showed siqierior early speed, but tired and was eased up at the end. Mountain, on Half Sovereign, claimed that the winner cut his mount off at the start, but this claim could not lie substantiated and the protest was dismissed. Scratched 09053 Desirous, 105. Cabochon ran poorly and did not appear to like the turf. Gatcbcll showed the most early sliced, but tired. Miller must have got the latter away well, for he was leading by a comfortable margin when they came in sight-, but tired as it short. Sir Cleges was closing up fast at the end.
