MASQUERADE IS PROMISING. Masquerade, the bay filly by Disguise Splendour, which is carded to make her debut in the first race at Brighton Beach today was bred by James R. Keene at bis Castleton Stud and is a half-sister to Dazzling and Durbar. Masquerade is said to have shown wonderfully fast trials in private. She is one of Mr. Keenes Futurity candidates. She has two stake engagements at Saratoga the Saratoga and Hopeful both of which Mr. Keene won last year, the former with Court Dress and the latter with Peter Pan.
