TO CLOSE DOUGLAS PARK DEAL. New York, August 10. Hubert Vreeland, Commissioner of Agriculture for Kentucky, and Robert E. Hughes, secretary of the Kentucky State Fair, arrived here tonight from Louisville for a conference with Louis A. Cella, principal stockholder in the Douglas Park rare track, and Matt Winn, of the Louisville: Jockey Club, in regard to the purchase of Douglas Park for a permanent home for the State Fair. It is likely that the difference now existing between the Slate Board of Agriculture and tin; Douglas Park people will lie amicably adjusted. The conference will be held tomorrow morning and it is expected that by Monday the deal for Douglas Park will have been completed.
