ONeill beat the barrier a length and, setting the paee all the way, won easing up after a shaking up in the stretch. Roe Kyle was always in closest pursuit and put tip a good race. Reticent closed an early gap and finished gamely. Pungent finished well. Lady Henrietta quit. Oleasa v.-as as good as left at the post, closed a big gap and tired in the stretch. Solon Shingle, nicely rated the first half, came through next to the rail on the home turn, where the leaders went wide, and closing stoutly, won under punishment. Peter Sterling ran a good race, following closely the leaders, but the weight told at the end. Rather Royal was used too much in chasing Toddles in the early stages of the race. Meddlesome Roy ran very wide on the far turn and again when turning into the stretch. Scratched 70441Fantastie, 10S.
