MORRIS PARK FOR WESTERNERS. Discovery of a Move of Cella and Company to Get New Track. New York, Septemlicr 0. There was an attempt made recently to lease Morris Park bv W. O. Parmer, representing, presumably, the western race track magnates-, L. A. Cella and others, through the Philadelphia Development Company. This information was given out by two gentlemen at the track this aftcrnoon.who are stewards of the Jockey Club and guarantors of the present five-vear lease held from the Morris Drothers by the Jockev Club for the Westchester Kacing Association. The attempt was doomed to failure from the first, owing to the existence of an iron-clad clause in the Jockey Club lease which provides for the dismantling of the grand stand and buildings and the cutting up of the land into building lots at the expiration of their llve-year lease.
