Heine ran as if much the best, was in a forward position throughout and, wearing Fay down in the stretch, won with, plenty In reserve. Fay, showing a high order of speed, set a fast pace from the start, but tired slightly near the end. Beatrice K. failed to show much speed In the first half, but came fast at the end and would have been second at a longer distance. Bouebrake ran well and closed a big gap after going a quarter. Cygnet, under a poor ride, had scant chance. Ruiloba came lroin a long way back in the stretch. The winner, entered for 00, was bid up to 00 by M. Whisk Broom, showing Improvement and well ridden, was a forward contender from the start and, when called on in the stretch, came away to an easy victory. Merrigo, going wide all he way, put up a good performance and linisfied with a rush. Ausonia began slowly and gained steadily. Ada O. Walker, badly outpaced for the first three furlongs, closed a big gap and can do much better. Dora Neff showed the most early speed, but tired after going a half. Minos raced in close pursuit of Halting to the stretch, where, under bard punishment, be gained steadily, but near the end was tiring and scored a lucky victory. Hazel Patch, much the best, began slowly, but yaved ground on the stretch turn and, with a more, energetic ride, would have won, was going fast at the end and was in front when a stride beyond the finish, llartiug showed the most early speed mid ran a good race, tiring only in the last few strides. Camille was badly outpaced all the way and can do much l etter. The winner was entered for 50; no bid. Scratched- 7097S Javanese, 98. Miss Vigilant was an active contender throughout and stood the final drive gamely. Auspicious bad to work through a rough trip and was gaining at the end. Overby ran forwardly in the early stages, but tired fast in the stretch rim ami will improve. BrakeVpeare ran fairly well. Etta Lonise. away in a tangle, ran far below her best form and can do much better. Alveolar would not break ami was left. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Hostile Hyphen ran a good race and had to be hard ridden all the way. Orlandot came from a long way back In the last quarter and but for going wide on the stretch turn might have won. Katlierine Murphy ran well. Lady Vie began slowly and gained fast in the last quarter after saving considerable ground when coming into the stretch. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. The latter, poorly ridden and suffering from interference on the turns, was forced to go wide into the .stretch, but finished well and was probably best today. Imboden ran a good race, closing a big gap in the last half. Scalp-lock showed a higli llight of early speed, but tired in the last quarter. Sylvan Belle tired in the last quarter. Great and Louise Macfarlau bolted at the start and were practically left. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Overweights Paul, 21 pounds; Great, 2; D. G. Taylor, 2; Louise Macfarlan, 1J.
