The latter closed up on the leaders with a rush when straightened out for the stretch run, but tired in the last sixteenth under punishment. Petulant ran in improved form and outstayed ISanyali through the last quarter. Adrian was crowded agaipst the fence, n the turn out of the backstreteh and was pulled up. Glimmer showed the most early speed and raced Court Martial into defeat in the lirst mile, but tired in the last furlong. Sea Wall was hard ridden all of the last half, but could never get up.
