Ex plosion indulged Rosimiro with the lead to midway of the stretch, .where she drew out as her rider pleased. , Rosimiro outbroke the others and made the running for live furlongs and then tired. Banyah, away slowly, closed up steadily a considerable gap and was a fast going and close third. Bellwether ran for-wardly to the stretcii and then tired. Norbitt held ids position well all the way. Hessian, nearly left, made up a little ground, but ran a poor race. Lajeunesse showed early speed. St. Valentine broke slowly and, steadily improving his position, got up to win in the last stride under skillful and patient ride. Voorhees outbroke and outpaced the others for over a mile and succumbed right at the end. Bad News, away badly and generally messed about, finished finally in a secure stretch pocket, but for which he could not have lost. Punky was well up throughout and going fast at the end. Golden Shore quit badly after running head and head with the favorite for live furlongs. Ostrich held on moderately well after being forced back early. Littleton Maid ran poorly. Juggler, from a good start, maintained a striking distance pursuit of the pacemakers to the far turn, where he quickly ranged alongside, drew out decisively when straightened for home and won oft like a good one. Right Royal got away poorly and closed a big early gap quickly into forward contention and finished witli -a rush, but swerving very badly. Dolly Spanker broke well, but was shullled back in the first half, then made up much ground in the last half and was badly interfered with in the closing drive by Right Royal and failed to get up. Moonshine showed early speed and ran prominently for six furlongs. Okenite le-i veloped brilliant speed and set the pace for. six furlongs, then quit badly, but is very good. Tom MeGrath broke slowly, but drew out in the first furlong and led the rest of the way by a big margin and without being extended, llandzarra is improved, broke slowly, but got into forward pursuit of the leaders and loomed up menacingly in the stretch, but tired finally. Oraculum, shullled to the rear early, closed a big gap in the last half, but ran on the outside and lost much ground by it. Lady Anne was in nearest attendance on the winner to the far turn, where she was crossed and forced back, but came agaiu unexpectedly at the end. Momentum broke badly and made up ground rapidly in the middle running, but quit all over in the stretch. Royal Onyx kept a good position throughout. Clovercrest dropped quickly to the rear, but was going well at the end. Ace High was virtually left.
