AMERICAN MARES FOR JAPAN. San Francisco, Cal., October 29. George S. Mc-Kcnzie, of Napa, Cal., has sold four broodmares to the Japanese government and they were shipped a few days ago on the steamship Manchuria. The animals were: Florista, b. m, 9, by Emperor of Norfolk Floren-tina. Rachael C, b. m, 10, by Kinglike Raindrop, by Falconer. Del Vista, ch. m, 10, by Del Mar Playful. Mulla, b. m, 10. All are in foal to Gibraltar, the Stonehenge Chemise, by Sensation imported horse which does duty at the McKenzie farm.
