Netting, from an extreme outside start, set the pace all the way, but finished tiring and just lasted long enough under a vigorous finish. Etapa, from a gotxl start, ran in nearest pursuit of the winner after going the first quarter and finished wearing her down. Rotrou, from a slow beginning and nearly left, closed an immense gap into a fast going third. May Ilolladay steadily improved her iosition. Iord of the Vale again quit badly. Huzzah ran forwardly lor seven furlongs. Little Joker made up ground throughout. Vaughan showed speed. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Overweights J. B. Smith, 2 pounds; Captain Bush, 1. Castile was always in forward pursuit ot the pacemakers and finished a frame second. ."Tane Swift, away slowlv, worked through a rough inside journey and finished with a belated rush. Uncle Sam, after nearest attendance on the winner for live furlongs, tired finally. Sir Wesley, from a flatfoohd start, closed a big gap. Dareington, away very badly, was taken an outside journey throughout and can do better. Sir Angus was green, but is a good looker. Orchota was virtually left. Scratched 71 S14 Billy Watkins, 112. Gorgalete, after being shullled to the rear, closed an immense gap and. just failing to get up. was much the best. Nabonassar. from a striding start, made the running to midway of the stretch and tired in the closing drive. Serenity ran prominently for seven furlongs and was badly messed about in the last quarter. Im Joe was shullled repeatedly to the roar in the first half and closed a gap in the last half. Jack Adams, never dangerous, ran on the outside all the way. Byronerdale was close up for a mile and tired right at the end. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Slieehan ran in nearest pursuit of the winner for five furlongs and was a game third. Bay Bennett improved his position steadily. Gromo-bui came fast from the rear in a cyclonic stretch rush and is much improved. Vinton, nearly left, closed an immense gap. Km and Km was short. St. Klmwood beat the barrier several lengths, but was skillfully and patiently taken back and saved in the early running, which enabled him to get up and win in the last stride. Como, a slow beginner, closed up gamely under terrific urging and is very good. Ocean Shore, well up throughout, but pocketed on the far turn, came along on the outside witii a fast stretch sprint. Ingham was prominent to the stretch and tired as if short. Burning Rush quit badly in the last quarter. Stray, not ready and away badly, closed a gap. Combury set a fast pace, but failed to stay.
