Toupee sel a fast pace nearly throughout, finished gamely under il.e whip and was much the best of the others. Black Mate ran well aud. finishing like a shot, sipped lit Oiovanni Balerio. The latter ran a fast half, but was tiring badly at the end. Confederate began slowly and closed a big gap. Cloisterers tired as if short after showing speed.
