Wldte, from a slow beginning, closed a big gap and finished gamely. lx rothy Ann was considerably knocked about in the early stages and forced to go wide into the stretch, but finished fast and, with clear sailing, would have been second. Speed Marvel was almost thrown after gi!ng three-quarters and came fast at ti-e end. Helen Holland ran fairly well. My Love quit badly after going three-quarters. Floridaglen quit. Auspicious ran a good race for a half. Suudart had a rough trip and disliked ttie going. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Thomas Calhoun was taken back soon after the start and kept in ■ rear position to the stretch turn, where lie went wide, but finished with a rush and would have won with good riding. Sweetener ran well and was gaining stoutly al the end. Listerine showed early speed, but failed to stay. Salt ram stepped into a ho.e and fell. Tbr winner was entered for 00; no bid.
