Magrane. was well attended and only two offered were passed— Pajaroitit. on which a reserve price of ,000 had been placed, and Arklirta, for which ,500 was bid, but which was bid in by S. McNaughton, acting for his owner. The names, pedigrees, buyers and prices paid for the five horses sold are as follows: R. M. Schwartz, who bred and trained the three two year olds sold by Y. K. luminous, announced that he would offer for sale all of the horses he has at his ranch during the last week of the Oakland meeting.
