NOTES OF THE TURF. Christian Intermann. of Met Ik Bergen. N. J.. has secured a three years lease of the old Guttou-borg race track, at Guttenhi rg. N. J., for harness racing. Fred Bui lew says the only horses he wants to take east with him in the spring is Chapultepec and Angelus. The oiler horses in the present string arc for sale. Trainer Silas Yeiteh has brought Palm and Rocket np to Belmout Park from the Pimlico track, where they have joined the other horses in the Courtland H. Smith stable which he is handling. Jacob Piucus is training two two-year olds at Sheepshead Bay. One of them is the bay colt Choirmaster of Cliesterbrook. owned by Captain E. B. Cassatt and the other is a hay iilly by Dubiiu -Itconic, by The Bard and owned by Robert K. Cassatt. The first foals by McChesney will arrive at Klm-endorf Stud this spring and E. E. Smathers says if they show any racing form as yearlings he will probably return to the turf and race a number of them. Mr. Smathers. who is spending tie winter in New York, is very partial to McChesney. which he once owned and believes will be a succcsslul sire of winners and wants to race some of them himself.
