Marse 1 Al»e outclassed the others and, from a fast beginning, dashed into a long lead n the first quarter and won cantering through the final furlong. Hammock Boy bolted to the outer fence on the first turn and closed a tremendous gap in the last furlong. Roseburg II.. prominent for the first quarter, lost ground in the elretch, but cairfe fast near the end and took third place in the closing strides. Eustacian, showing improvement and saving ground all the way, ran a good race. Cunning lacked speed and tired after going a matter. Lillian Ray had no mishaps. Queens Souvenir, away fast and showing much improved form, raced Prince Bowling into defeat in thi first half, but was tiring and swerving badly in the stretch and sharply interfered with Blue Lee, then outstayed Albert Star in the closing strides. Albert Star began slowly and closed a big gap into a game Mlouik piue Lee was kpt too far back for the first half, came with a rush through the stretch, but was sharply interfered with and almost thrown at the furlong post by Queens Souvenir and would have won with a clear course. Florence N. had a rough trip and ran well. Padrone was prominent for a half. Truro showed the most speed for three furlongs before tiring. The winner was entered for 00: no bid. Financier was speedy, but was raced into exhaustion in wearing Mae Hamilton down. The latter had the best of the slart and ran well to the stretch, but tired fast after going a half. Banridn. practically left and ridden with poor judgment, ran a good race. Kthel Carr tired in the last quarter. Tie winner was entered for 00: no bid.
