ELIGIBLES TO THE TORONTO KINGS PLATE. The Kings Plate, to be run for the forty-ninth time over the truck of the Toronto Jockey Club May 23. is the oldest stake fixture on the continent. Thirty-sev. n horses, which, according to the conditions governing entri-s. must have been foaled, reared and trained in the province of Ontraio, have never licon outside of Canada and are not winners of any races on the flat or through the field, are entered. Joseph K. Seagram, the Waterloo breeder, lias made the largest number of nominations with eight, while the Valley Farm Stable and the Woodstock Stable are s cond and third with five and four. The historic race will be run on the first day of the Toronto Jockey Clubs spring meeting over a mile and a quarter course. I Hcla rations are to be made May 8.
