TURFMEN AND HORSES GOING TO BALTIMORE Baltimore Md April 9 Horses which will race hero at the spring meeting of the Maryland Jockey Club are arriving every day Visiting turfmen arc pleased with the prospects of a successful meeting here and the officials of the club are com ¬ plimented on the Improved condition of the track buildings and grounds which now makes the Pirn lico course one of the prettiest In the country Over 250 tons of sand have been mixed with the top dressing of the track and it will be faster this spring than ever before Races for the stee ¬ plechasers will be carded every day of the meeting and efforts will be made to make this popular feature more attractive than at any previous meeting
