SEAGRAMS GOOD DAY AT WOODBINE PARK Takes the Three Principal Races in a Row and His Seismic Again Defeats Sbimoncse Toront Ont May 20 The famous black and yellow sash of Joseph K Seagram was very much in evidence nt Woodbine Park this afternoon There were three stakes on the program and the presi ¬ dent of the Ontario Jockey Club furnished the winner In each of them Lady Milner beat her opponents Jn the Coronation Stakes Seismic captured the Breeders Stakes while Jubilee Juggins led at the Jinlsh of the Prince of Wales Handicap All three of the winners were heavily supported by the public and their victories were popular ones onesThreatening Threatening weather had its effect on the attend ¬ ance and tin crowd showed a decided falling oft from the opening days Favorites won two of the laces tho successful choices being Goldway anil iMdy Milncr Jockey Shilling carried off tlie rldlug honors He had four mounts during the afternoon won with three of them and finished second on the other otherIn In the Breeders Stakes Seismic winner of the ICings Plate showed that his victory in that fixture was no Hnke by coining back and picking up 127 pounds and beating Shlmonese out in a canter Seis ¬ mic was under stout restraint for the entire trip and at the tinish was only cantering Newguile one of the starters in this race fell just as the Held reached the judges stand in going the first time around and landing on his head broke his neck neckIn In the steeplechase jockey Stone wiio had the mount on Byzantine fell off nt the tenth jump and was stepped on by one of the horses in behind him ITo was l riii riiii riiid i d up and injured Internally The field left the post to an excellent start in this race but the man with the advance Hag evidently became rat ¬ tled for he failed to drop his Hag and the riders pulled up upWilliam William Shields furnished the winner in the open ¬ ing race in Ilolschcr which won easily This skilfull young trainer hns all his horses in excellent condi ¬ tion and he is getting his share of the purses pursesDion Dion Kerr arrived here from Bclmont Park this morning and will have n mount in the hunters Hat race here tomorrow tomorrowM M Hogtin shipped Itartlett Melennans pair of steeplechase horses Agent and The Knight back to Belmont Park this morning
