ADAM SOON STARTS FOR FRANCE Trainer Welsh to Take the Biff Horso and Twenty Throo Mares Over Trainer Tom Welsh of the Newcastle Stable will start from New York for France September 10 with the stallion Adam and twentythree broodmares the property of the Mlllstreaiu Stud of which Andrew Miller and Frank C Bishop are part owners Mr Bishop bought Adam in France two years ago for 73000 and brought him to this countrv for breed ¬ ing purposes As Adam is highly thought of on the other side Mr Hishop believes that he can gee some of his money back by selling him and tha mares in toal to him at auction in France The horse was imported from France on Welshs Judg ¬ ment He saw him race and has always Insisted that he was one of the best horses he ever saw Welsh sawWelsh worked Adam a mile in 141 under 130 pounds over the Horse Haven track at Saratoga shortly after his arrival iu this country Adam did this work without turning a hair Welsh wantetl to put him in training forthwith Bishop however would not agree to any such scheme Ho nald 1m had bought the horse for the stud and to the stud he must so without delay
