ARGENTINA CLUB AGAINST AMERICANS Xew York September 4 A dispatch from Buenos Ayrcs Argentina says that the executive committee of the Argentina Jockey Club has resolved to ex ¬ clude foreignborn horses from races This measure Is directed principally against the American horses coming on the steamer Velasquez VelasquezThe The action is evidently taken on mere rumor as among the 102 horses shipped on the Velasquez by J B Haggin and J 11 Keene August 20 last there are few or no horses for racing purposes purposesThey They were for the most part stallions and brood ¬ mares with which to found a breeding farm In South America Matt Byrnes the veteran trainer was in charge of the consignment and it was ex ¬ pected that the trip would last twentysix days The expense of flipping the horses was 100 each and 2T each per man manThe The shipment will reach Buenos Ayres if the trip is well made as is likely at this time of the year about next Wednesday or Thursday ThursdayCommenting Commenting upon the cablegram from Buenos Ayres Sehnyler L Parsons said that lie did not think the Buenos Ayres authorities were discriminat ¬ ing against United States turfmen but that as ia the case in France many races in the Argentine are limited to horses bred in that country Friends of Messrs Haggin and Keene said that neither owner was at all concerned by the news inasmuch as the thoroughbreds shipped by them to Buenos Ayres were for breeding purposes only
