RACING PROBABLE IN ARKANSAS Hot Springs Ark September 15 Yesterdays elective results in the state of Arkansas by which the Democrats scored sweeping victories over oppo ¬ nents with restrictive reform tendencies gives lo horsemen substantial hope for an early resumption of racing in Hot Springs It is more than probable that Judge O II Sumpter elected senator from Garland County will introduce at the next convening of the legislature a bill having for its object the peal of the Amis law which put a stop to racing racingi i Hot Springs Since the passage of the law Seiui nr Amis its author has died and a general change In sentiment towards racing is noticeable hence it is thought that but slight opposition will lie en ounlerfd in an effort to secure a repeal of the Amis law and the securcment of favorable legisla ¬ tion If successful it is expected that a meeting for Oaklawn will be announced during tin latter part of February and will be of sixty days dura lion
