JACKSONVILLE FLA TRACK TO BE BUILT New York Septoml er lo From all indications Florida will have plenty of racing the coming winter season and if the plans of both the Jacksonville and Tampa promoters are carried out there may be more than is necessary or advisable advisableThe The Jacksonville project now is said to be an as ¬ sured fact with T D Sullivan and his associates mid announcement has already been made of a two mouths meeting at Tampa opening February 5 5It It is declared here to be the Sullivan plan to build and equip the race track at New Buffalo Midi and get it in operation while the Jackson ¬ ville plant is being made ready for racing Then late in November or early in December the Jack ¬ sonville track will be opened for a sixtyday meet ¬ ing The horses which race in Michigan will be moved there in a l ody in addition to many eastern horses and those of the Texas circuit Should New Orleans conflict with the Jacksonville meeting it is said there will be enough horses for both meetings Here however it is not thought that there will be much racing at New Orleans
