Uockstone. from a tiatfooted start and inadequately ridden, s teadily unproved his liosition in the last half. Select finished close up. lleknows quit badly. Sanguine is out of place in sprints. Spellbound soon gained and held a slight lead and outstayed all stretch challenges in a long and hard closing drive. Summer Night was a prominent contender throughout and just failed to get up in a fast stretch rush. Jeanette M. closed an early gao and loomed up menacingly midway of the stretch, but tired in the final strides. Crania, away badly, closed a big gap and was a fast going fourth. Prosper was well up at the end. Erbet set the early- pace, but tired badly in the last quarter and was short. Garland, shullied lo the rear early, made up some ground. Chepontue was badly outrun. Gowaii. outpaced from a slow start, closed an immense gap in a great stretch rush and is in grand form. Notasuiga. shuttled back early, steadily improved her position in the last half into a fast going fourth. Question Mark drew out in the first quarter and led under a pull to the stretch, then tired and was palpably short. The Squire, from a flying start, led for the first quarter and was then steadily shunted back and dropped to the rear quickly on the turn. King Cobalt seemed unable to raise a respectable gallop. . Mark Autouy II. ran prominently for seven furlongs and tired in the last sixteenth drive. Imitator, showing superior speed, led for nearly sis furiougs and is extra good.
