Dr. Maver, favored by the going and away fast, showed much speed throughout and outstayed Killington in the closing strides. Killington showed the most early speed and ran a good, game race. Mique OBrien made up ground and was going well at the end. Greenbrldge. away slowly, had to overcome interference and was close up at the end. Colonel Blue, practically left at the post, closed a big gap and ran a good race. Automatic had no mishaps. The Robin was never prominent. Dr. Fizz quit badly after going a quarter. Miss Felix, showing the most sneed for the first half, tired near the end, but was best of the others. Europa held on well throughout. Miss K. O. B. was gaining at the end and ran well. Lady Hapsburg emit after going a good half. Daisy Shine was shuflled back soon after the start and closed a big gap in the last quarter. The winner was entered for 00: no bid. Sorrel Top made a hard effort to wear Snake Mary down in the first half, but tired in the stretch. Dainty Belle was prominent throughout and outgamed Refined in the final drive. Refined ran a good race for a first out in a long time. Hasty came from a long way back in the stretch. Natasha moved up fast from a slow beginning after going a quarter, but tired in the stretch drive. May-cella had no mishaps. Cauiille M. fell lame and was pulled up. Merrick forced a fast early pace, but had to do his best for the first live furlongs to dispose -of Cloisteress, then came away in the last furlong to win decisively. Cloisteress ran a good race and finished gamely. Bonart caught Ovelando tiring in the stretch and came away in the last sixteenth for third place. Ovelando showed speed for a half and is still short.
