Ncbulosus, after forward pursuit of the pacemaker to the stretch, drew out decisively and is promising. Captain Kennedy set the pace for live furlongs and tired. Adena, forced rearward early, was reserved, but gained rapidly in the second quarter ami was .easing up at the end. Burnell broke slowly, but moved into quick forward contention and tired as if short in the stretch. Sir Wesley, a slow beginner, trailed for a half and finished fast. Billy Pullman, away badly, trailed early, then closed au immense gap into a fast going third and is extra good. Billy Wntkins was outpaced early, but finished fast. Emma G. acted badly at the post but, from a flying start, set the pace for a mile and quit badly. Billy Myer, -prominent for five furlongs, tired as if short. Abbey was always decisively outpaced. Charley Paine ran In striking distance pursuit of the leaders and was a game third and in close quarters at the end. Romanoff, after nearest attendance on the winner for six furlongs, quit badly. Roalta ran well up throughout and. after losing ground in the second quarter, came unexpectedly fast at the end. Force, after forward pursuit of the pacemaker, tired in the stretch and probably was short. Pajarolta showed brilliant speed to midway of the stretch, then quit badly and was short. Sir Brillar took the lead quickly and won all the way unmenaced until too late and was lucky. Remember, taken up and out of serious contention in the first quarter, closed a tremendous gap in the last half, but failed to get up under a peculiar looking ride and was best. Cloverland ran in nearest pursuit of the winner for seven furlongs and made a game finish. L. O. Ackerley, prominent for half the journey, quit badly. Iulletta ran poorly. Royal Red showed speed, but quit badly. The winner was entered for 00: no bid. Don Enrique, the pacehiakcr for the first quarter, was prominent to the last furlong and tired right at the end. Sugarmaid ran in forward contention for seven furloujjs and dropped out. Overweights Don Enrique, 1 pound.
