Reformation showed much speed throughout, faltered an instant when an eighth out. but rallied in tlie closing strides under a fierce drive. Uncle Walter, never far away, showed rare gameness under punishment in tlie final eighth and finished resolutely. Pert made up ground gradually ail through the final quarter. Little Mose was sharply cut off next to tlie rail in tlie final sixteenth just as he was making a rush. Guy Fjsher bolted when tlie barrier went up. Tlie winner was entered for ?G0O; no bid. Chief Desmond loomed up and appeared tlie winner after entering the stretch, hut tired badly when an eighth out. Antigo set a fast pace to the stretch and quit all over.
