Micaela outbroke the others and set the pace to the Inst stride. Dr. Mayer, after being flatfooted and crowded back at the start, closed a big gap and, finishing with a rush, was probably best. Key el Dlnero, from a bad start, ran into quick prominence and finished close up. El Pavo ran forwardly for five furlongs and quit. Assay had a rough trip. Jim Ilanna showed speed, but quit. Achates was gaining rapidly at the end Linola showed superior speed for a half mile. The winner was entered for Sand00: no bid. Overweights Assay. 1 pound: Linola. 4. Curriculum was never dangerous. Balreed was gaining rapidly at the end. Mechlin showed early speed and tired and so did Lord Rossington. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Red Leaf ran In prominent contention to the stretch and tired. . Captain Kennedy wa; choked in au effort to place him in the early running and failed to stay.
