JOCKEY CLUB OFFICIALS AND LICENSES. New York. April 8 fPP Ph F. Widener of Phila delphia was unanimously elected a member of the Jockey Club at a meeting of that body yesterday lo till the vacancy existing ill the club. After this meeting the stewards of the Jockey Club met. appointed racing officials for I0W and passed upon a long list of applications for licenses from trainers ami jockeys. The racing officials for 196B are: Clarence Me Dowell. judge: C. 11. pettingill. judge and clerk ot the scales: Mars Ca-sidy. starter: Harry Honians. starting judge and entry clerk: 11. onklin. assistant to the Clerk of the scales: J. L. Hall, patrol judge: W. EL Barret tax timer, and W. s. Voshuigh. hand! capper. The stewards resolved that they could not re open the case of R. L. Rogers, ruled oil Hie turf under Rule HI2. c-n October 20. 19M. Rule M2 relates P. the administration of artificial stimulants to horses. Rogers was the trainer of the horse. Garnish, which was owned bv his wile and the race which brought about his banishment was run at Brighton Beach. James Diggins was refused a Jockeys license, while the api.lications of Walter Miller. Charles Grand and John M. O Brian were laid on the table for future consideration. Among the trainers whose applications were laid on the table were Joseph Marrone and William Wen-. Trainers S. J.
