Crawford ran a good race and was prominent all the way. Silver C. was taken all over the course and might have won with a stronger rider. Harriet Rowe closed a gap and was gaining at the end after a ixxir l eginniug. .Mae Hamilton ran poorly. Mi-s Felix set the earlv pace, but was knocked out of anv chance in the last furlong. Austin Sturtevant closed a big gap in the last iiuarter. Bed Shawl tired after goiug a good half. Ludhiaua ran disappointingly. Kiddy moved up into prominence on the stretch turn, but tired in the last furlong. •Lady Orimar showed the most speed for a half and |dit.
