Pat McCaun. an old black gelding by Knight of Malta — Liscoiiuan. lias been a good none in English and Irish Jumping races for eight years and is still winning in good company though thirteen years old. Last fall the old fellow won four consecutive races. Dalkieth. a nine-year-old black gelding by Seneschal — Ksperanco and a race horse of distinction ii: Australia, was taken to England three years ago and wen a few races in 10H7. But he never rewarded his party as was expected and at Bpaom last month broke down so badly that he will never race again. It is quite apparent that the decision in the La tonia-Bacing Commission case will not become Operative at tin- thirty-day spring mooting. Harvey Myers was granted leu days to submit briefs, and it will probably be two weeks alter that before a decision comes down, ami then it will he thirty davs before the decision goes into effect, provided thai neither side asks for a rehearing. -Cincinnati Enquirer.
