Barmy Schn ibcrs Balolee was the choice in the opening race, and never left the result in doubt, winning all the way and pulling up at the finish. Ban Lord, after making the early running, tired badly after entering the stretch and readily succumbed to Miss May Bowdish. which ran in im proved form.
