GLORIO NOW QUARTERED IN THE EAST New York March IT W P Fine has arrived at Sheepshcad Bay from Juarez with Glorio Calves Dredkiu and Galtor Dredkin is going soundly after having been on the shelf for a considerable time with troublesome legs Glorio will be pointed for the Metropolitan Handicap and other important eastern races racesThe The Fine establishment will he augmented shortly by nine twoyearolds from Kentucky These young ¬ sters are Californiabred colts and fillies by Sir Hampton Canopus and Galvestou and they are the property of John Mackey Mr Mackey recently sold his California farm and disposed of many of his stallions and mares to agents of the Japanese government He did not offer his twoyearolds be ¬ cause the market was bad and he did not care to sacrifice them It Is his Intention to go in for racing this year and sell his horses oft as they de ¬ velop sufficient class to command good prices Mr Mackey is now on the way from California to Ken ¬ tucky to make spring arrangements for Galveston Canopus mid Sir Hampton and the mares he has temporarily established at Elmcndorf Mr Hagglu it is understood will breed a number of firstclass mares of the Elmendorf establishment to Mr Mackeys stallions
