WALDO STANDS FIFTEEN HANDS THREE Lexington Ky March 17 W II Shelley who Is to act as racing secretary for the local meeting this spring is enthusiastic over the prospects He says Lexington will have the greatest meeting in its history this spring if anything like fair weather prevails The very best horses which liave been racing this winter will be here in addition to the good ones that have been prepared this spring at the various tracks in Kentucky Waldo will be a pure starter in the Camdcn Handicap Raleigh Colston told mi he would a few days ago and nearly every other good threeyearold will also be a starter in this Derby preliminary Waldo has grown and spread and is certainly a grandlooking horse now Vo measured him the other day and he stands just fifteen hands three inches
