Sir Angus was returned winner of the fifth, witli Duchess of Montebello and Hancock next. Biskra, a mild favorite, ran below her form. Dr. Downie fell, but jockey Callahan escaped with a shaking up. Vosper was substituted for Callahan an Adciia in the last race and was niulercd an ovation when he rate her to victory. Jockey Callahan was fined $.".0 for inislichavior at the |M.st in tlie first and Kirsclibaitni 99M for a similar offense in the fifth. J. II.
