THE RUNNING OF TORONTOS LIVERPOOL CUP •»• — + Tlie Liverpool Cup. one of Torontos most interesting races, had its origin in the proffer of a cup for an annual race by Thomas Oakshott. of Liver| ool. England. In its tirst running it was won by William Hen-diies odd Car. It is now required that to become the absolute pro|»ert.v of any owner he must win it two years in succession. This condition lias been met by J. K. Seagram. G. W. Cook and the Kirklield Stable Some excellent race horses h.-ve won the Liverpool Cup. of which Fort Hunter and Tourenne were prohahlv lust.
