E. C. C0WDIN VICTIM OF ACCIDENT. Mount Kisco. . V.. July 22.— Elliot C. Cowdin. a well-known breeder of thoroughbreds, is lying seriously injured at his home here after a narrow escape from instant death in an automobile accident two days ago. Mr. Cowdin was returning with a party of friends from the races at Empire City track in his automobile when the car unset from some unknown cause, hurling the occupants over a fence and into a cornfield. Mr. Cowdin was the only one injured.
