SIXTY-EIGHT FUTURITY ELIGIBLES LEFT. Ownership, Names and Bleeding of the Youngsters in Our Richest Stake Race. The final declarations from the Futurity o£ 1910 were made July 15 and the net result is that sixty-i ight two-year-olds are now eligible to start. Of these twenty-three will have to pay in all S3£0 to start, or .floo Forfeit to stay out. Fort] live will have to pay 70 in all to start, or 20 forfeit to stay out. This Futurity closed with fi:!2 nominations, of which 2S0 were void. There were :;:!7 declarations at . 120 at 0, 58 at 1910.sh0, and 04 at 0, so there are now piled up 3,330 in forfeits. Bach of the sixty-eight eligible! has to add 00 to this sum and the Coney Island Jockey Club adds 0.ikm. To start a horse costs 50 and the money from this source goes two • thirds to the second horse and one-third to the third horse. The deductions from the added money are JU.250 to the second horse. 50 to the third. •S2.U0O lo the nominator of the winner, ,250 to the nominator of the second and 00 to the nominator of the third. From all of this it can be calculated that to the owner of the winner this vear will fall the sum of about 1,230, or 0,230 if the winner was nominated by him. Of Hie two year-olds which have won or raced well this year. Trap Bock, Babbler, Wutervale, Horizon, Blackfoot, Pleasant, Golden Egg, Pharaoh. Naushon, The Bailiffs Daughter, Solid Comfort, Novelty, Imprint. GoMea Agnes, Textile, Adam Bede, Zeus, Bashti. Seth. Bettie Sue, Gurneau and Irou Mask are in the list of eligibles. Penalties and allowances considered, this band alone is eminently capable of furnishing as pretty a race as one could wish to see. But Saratoga is notorious for uncovering Futurity probabilities, and for a variety of reasons in unusual number of "dark ones are to.be tried out there this month. The James R. Keene stable was reputed early in the year to shelter some great two-year olds, but disease swept through the string and besides killing Katonah, the rumored star of them ali. disabled all but Iron Mask from taking IMirt in the racing of the year so far. The sick oin s are now recovered and are in good health and form at Saratoga. If, as reported, Kunnynnilc and Absconder are much better than Iron Mask, the Saratoga meeting will soon disclose the fact and give Mr. Keene an obvious chance to land another Futurity. Mr. Saniords pair. Paton and Kockvillo, ami Mr. Belmonts Flint Rock are supposed to be high-class youngsters in reserve and several other stables have two year-olds saved especially for the big event at Saratoga and the Futurity. It will not bo long now until public racing will appease cariosity regarding tile real form of the dark division.
